Please update RSVP Circle

This version of the app is too old to keep your guest lists safe and in step. Update it from the store to carry on.

Parking & directions

Parts of the event (optional)

For an event in parts, like a ceremony and a reception. Guests tick which parts they'll come to, and the catering summary counts each part. Leave empty for a single event.

Bring-a-dish sign-up (optional)

List what guests can bring and how many people can sign up for each. Each family can pick up to 2 items; full items can't be picked.

Invite picture

Shown at the top of the RSVP page and as the preview picture when the RSVP link appears in a text message.

Invite text

Reminders

Turn each reminder on or off, change when it goes out, and edit its text. "Use default" puts back the original wording.

Replaced for each family: {name} (e.g. "Priya & Arjun"), {event}, {date}, {time} (start time), {place}, {link} (their RSVP link), {when} ("next week", "in 3 days", "today"), {count} ("2 adults and 1 kid"). Keep {link} in the invite so families can reply.

What to ask guests

Start a new event

Keeps every family's name, spouse and phone numbers. Clears all answers, headcounts, kids' ages, send times, the date and time. Each family keeps the same RSVP link.

Put the dashboard on your home screen

It opens like an app, full screen, with its own icon.

Duplicates

Families with the same phone number or email. For each pair, merge them into one family, or delete the one you don't need.

Standardize phone numbers

Every number is saved as +1 and 10 digits, with no brackets, hyphens or spaces, for example +16145550142. New, imported and edited contacts are saved this way automatically.

Event name

Date, place, reminders and message wording are under Event & messages.

This app is for personal social events only: family gatherings, religious events, birthday parties and similar get-togethers. Marketing, sales, fundraising appeals, political messages and outside web links aren't allowed.

Merge into one family

Pick whose name leads the family. The other person becomes the spouse (or an extra family member), phone numbers are combined (up to two), and the most recent RSVP answer is kept. Both old RSVP links keep working.

Send texts?

Import from your phone

Pick people from your phone's Contacts. Only the contacts you pick are imported, straight into your guest list. Anyone already on your list is skipped.

Or import a contacts file instead
iPhone: in Contacts select people → Share → Save to Files. Android: Contacts → Export (.vcf). Only the contacts in the file are imported.

Send an event update

For a time or venue change. Goes only to families who said Yes or Maybe. Update the date, time or place in Event & messages first, so {date} and {place} fill in the new details.

Example

Recently deleted

Deleted families and merges from the last 30 days. Restoring brings the family back with its RSVP answer, history and link.

Paste a list of families

One family per line, separated by commas or tabs (rows copied from Excel or Google Sheets work). Columns in this order:
Name, Phone 1, Phone 2, Email, Spouse. Only the name is required.
